Seppala of Lake Forest, Illinois.　　Her husband graduated from Yale and received an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and is a stock research analyst in the asset management unit of Lazard Frères & Company in New York. His father is an independent pharmaceuticals industry consultant in Lake Forest.　　Married in a ceremony at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary in Greenwich, Connecticut, performed by the Rev. Alfred Riendeau.
